How to Help Perfume Last All Day




Purchase the lotion and powder if it comes with your perfume. Apply the lotion first and lightly dust your body with the powder before applying the perfume. Layering will help the perfume last throughout the day.


Apply the perfume to your pressure points, which includes your wrist, behind your ear lobes, behind the knees and the back of the neck. The heat and moisture on the pressure points reacts well with the perfume.


Choose perfumes with essential oils instead of ethyl alcohol. The perfumes with oil will last longer. The perfumes labeled eau de cologne will last longer than perfumes labeled eau de toilette.


Extreme heat can change the composition of perfume. This can cause perfume to wear off during the day. Store your perfume at room temperature. The best place is in an underwear or sock drawer.


Spray on your perfume right after your shower when the pores are open. This will help the perfume last all day.


Apply the perfume to your hairbrush before brushing your hair.


Spray a cloud of perfume and step into it to get the perfume all over your body.
